"Food here was amazing. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the flavors were so unique, it really woke up my taste buds. Even something simple the the ranch dressing was zippy and the coleslaw was unique with raisins and a sweet taste but it was delicious! The waitress needs to do a better job of listening, I had to repeat myself a few times but she's young and that will get better with experience. I will DEFINITELY be back. Yum!"

"The fries were the best. The burger was juicy and severed on a really fresh bun. The burger had chili and bacon wow. The chicken cordon blue was the best she ever had. The onion rings were the size of my hand. The slaw was really tasty."

"Wonderful first experience. We had lunch. First our server Ragen was simple delightful. We had cheese curds to start off, then burgers with fries, and slaw. One of the best burgers I've ever had. We will be back."

"Writing a latent review from an experience back in August. I ordered the Peachy Hot Chicken- Hand-battered and deep fried chicken breast glazed with spicy peach honey, topped with pepper jack, hickory smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Side of slaw included. It was messy/spicy/sweet but my fiance's double smash burger was better. I'd recommend their burgers over the chicken sandwich. Huge hand-sized onion rings, though I wish they were beer battered or had a little bit more season. Ironically, I was hoping the breaded chicken was going to be crispier after being sauced, but it lost some crunch. The complimentary peanuts are a nice touch! Unfortunately everyone in my party (I didn't mind), was not a fan of constantly walking on shells. Especially under our table from previous patrons. There were a few servers on a slow day with idle hands so I felt that could've been alleviated."

"River City Cafe comes to Conway. Located street side and part of the Black Water Market, this Divine Dining Group cafe offers the traditional burger menu in a cozy atmosphere. Setup is an open floor plan with a L shape of booths along two walls, a number of wood chairs and tables in the middle and a 1/2 dozen metal stools for counter seating. Additional tables are located outside along the street. Roadsigns, beer signs and licenses bring out the highway diner motif with standard butcher paper table coverings, plastic cups and free peanuts. The menu offers over two dozen always fresh, never frozen burgers, five chicken burgers, turkey burger, dawgs, beach favorite platters, salads and signature sides. New to the menu and my choice was the Double Bacon Smash Burger with two ¾ Ib beef patties smashed to perfection, topped with crumbled hickory smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and 1000 Island dressing. I made it a platter with a heaping of fries and their own creamy coleslaw. Our server Hailey was small town friendly and efficient. I have been to a number of their River City Cafe locations and other restaurants part of this Group and have come away impressed with the consistency and quality of what they serve. I hope as they continue to grow that this commitment doesn’t waver. Keep up the good work."

"Glad they added a river city cafe in downtown! The food was so good! I got the chicken Philly and it was probably the best I’ve had in the area. Husband got the Texas BBQ burger and thought it was excellent as well. Our server Regan was so sweet and on point! The only downside about this place is the location size. I felt like we were crammed in a cracker box, need to expand the location for sure."

"We came to eat lunch today. My husband got the double smash burger and I got the peachy hot chicken. My sandwich was HUGE! And it was very delicious. Both our meals were great but even better was our waitress. She was attentive, polite, friendly and fun! We will most certainly be back."

"So this is our second time at this location. Our waitress really bent over backwards to give us quality service. When the cheese pops came out they were over cooked and hollow. The waitress told management and they were replaced. But, while we ate, I watched the hostess clean the drawing paper from three tables with all of the tables trash still on it. Although efficient, we saw food still on the tables. Then she came and put clean paper on the table without cleaning the table! She also replaced the peanuts that the previous customer ate from, back on the table. By the third table, we notified the manager. Watching people eat from those peanuts, that others ate from was gross. Told my husband "No More Peanuts!" Our Hot Peachy Chicken Sandwich was awesome and more than enough of a meal. We ordered fries to share, but couldn't finish them. Overall a good meal, lesson learned. *Updated 12-10-25 There has been a change in staff, snd management. I tell them to lightly cook the cheese curds and they do! Great service the last 2 visits."
